In India, being infertile is considered as a curse. It will haunt the couple in their entire life.
Daljinder Kaur, 70, and Mohinder Singh Gill, 76, was among the people who are dubbed as cursed. They have been married for 46 years but they did not have a child although they were both healthy and have enough money to sustain themselves since they have their own farm outside Amritsar, India. The couple did not lose hope that one day, they will have a child.
Daljinder decided to undergo IVF or In Vitro Fertilization after having several tests. It was a miracle because Daljinder conceived. She delivered their first child on April 19, 2016 at the age of 70. The baby weighed 4.4 lbs (2 kgs).
The baby brought a bundle of joy to the couple. He changed the lives of his parents who become more optimistic about life.
