Second Suspect in Robbery-Rape Inside a UV Express Shot Dead

A "colorum" van driver who was  accused of molesting and raping two passengers inside a UV Express was shot dead when he tried to grab the firearm of one of his arresting officers.

The second suspect named Alfie "Buddy" Turado was brought to the police station where he admitted that he was one of the suspects caught on a CCTV with the first suspect named Wilfredo Lorenzo, who was arrested on June 10, when the rape happened.

However, Turado said that he was just the driver of the colorum UV Express van and denied that he raped the passenger, contrary to what their alleged 22-year old victim claimed. He added that it was Lorenzo who planned the whole thing and he had nothing to do with it. 

Turado reportedly shaved his head so he cannot be identified. He was brought to East Avenue Medical Center after he was shot inside the vehicle when he tried to grab the firearm of a police officer, but was pronounced clinically dead a few minutes before 4 a.m.
