Lola Francisca Susano, a centenarian in Negros Occidental enjoyed a double celebration in Kabankalan City on Sunday as she marked Grandparents' Day and her 119th birthday.
Lola Francisca's only birthday wish was to spend the day with all her family and friends. Six of her eight surviving children, who are grandparents themselves, attended the celebration along with her friends and churchmates.
Her son named Ernesto Susano said he's hoping that her mother will still be in good health on her next birthday.
Lola Francisca mostly eats fruits and vegetables. She also loves to play the flute to relieve stress.
Born on September 11, 1897, Lola Francisca is believed to be the world's oldest living person. The Guinness Book of World Records, however, has yet to recognize this feat, pending the verification of her birth records by international bodies.
