Kapuso star Heart Evangelista, the wife of Senator Francis "Chiz" Escudero recently admitted that she's the one spending for the construction of their house in New Manila, Quezon City. This is near to the house of Chiz' children to his first wife.
According to Heart: “Well, ako kasi ano, eh, we have a pre-nup, both. So what’s mine before and after will be mine, ganu’n din sa kanya kasi we have a modern family.
“I don’t like to discuss about money, he has two children and then I have my own din (soon), so ayoko ng may mag-aaway-away pa or what.
“So anuman ‘yung sa kanila, kanila para malinis,” she explained.
Heart expressed her happiness and gratefulness that Chiz understands her principles.
“I don’t think modern marriages should not stop you from being independent. I’m very happy na very modern si Chiz,” she said.
