Hollywood Actors, Actresses And Performers Who Have 'Dugong Pinoy'


Filipinos are talented people. They always succeed in everything they do. Some have made it big in Hollywood.

Among those Filipinos from 1950s to 1980s, was Neile Adams, who was born Ruby Salvador in Manila, starred in several American TV shows and films, one of which was 'This Could Be The Night' where she met The King of Cool Steve McQueen.

The actor who was cast in the original version of The Magnificent Seven became Neile's first husband.

Steven McQueen, their grandson was also an actor. He is playing Jeremy Gilbert in The Vampire Diaries.

Neile's father was the maternal great grandfather of Enrique Iglesias.

Gabriella Montez of High School Musical has a Filipino blood.

Born to an Irish/American dad and a Filipina mom named Gina, she is set to reprise her role in the popular TV show's comeback.


Anna Maria Perez de Tagle

She is best known for her stint in Disney shows Camp Rock, Camp Rock 2, and Hannah Montana.

The 26-year-old actress was raised by her Filipino parents in California, U.S.A.

She is the granddaughter of the country's Kundiman Queen, Sylvia de la Torre.
