She shared the heartbreaking news about her mother's demise in a poignant social media post published on Tuesday, May 14.
On her Instagram page, Gigi posted a carousel of photos featuring her mother. In the caption, she penned a brief yet deeply touching farewell message for her late mother, expressing her profound love and urging her to rest in peace.
"Mahal na mahal kita. Pahinga ka na mama ko."
It's worth noting that in previous interviews, Gigi had revealed that her mother was battling stage 4 breast cancer.
