With the cost of tuition skyrocketing in the Philippines education ends up eating a large chunk of any family’s annual expenses. But just how much does it take out a Filipino family’s wallet to send a child in college?
According to the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), there is an average increase of 6.17%, or the equivalent of P29.86, per unit, as of academic year 2015-2016. Other school fees increase by an average of 6.55%, or P135.60.
