President Duterte had visited blast victims at Davao City hospital on Saturday, hours after the explosion in his hometown.
He promised and guaranteed to the blast victims that the government would shoulder their medical expenses.
Southern Philippines Medical Center Chief Dr. Leopoldo Vega said in a press conference that "The main instruction of the president was to take care of the critically wounded patients. They will not pay for anything."
Dr. Vega said the hospital was also looking at holding stress debriefing sessions for the victims and their families.
After an explosion rocked a popular night market in the southern city in Davao on Friday, 14 people were killed while 67 others were wounded. Abu Sayyaf has claimed responsibilty for the attack.
