Piolo Pascual Expresses His Support For President Duterte

Many celebrities have been speaking out their thoughts on President Duterte lately after the harsh comments of actress Agot Isidro against the President as she called him a psychopath.'

Despite President Duterte's rough behavior and foul mouth, there are still celebrities who supported the President on his ways. One of them is popular actor Piolo Pascual.

In an interview last Wednesday, October 12, Piolo said he felt bad for Agot Isidro for whatever's happening. According to him: “But we believe in what we believe in. I’m not in the position to comment on that, you know. That’s their opinion and that’s their stand. Respetuhan lang.”

Piolo reiterated that everyone is entitled to their own opinion and respect should be done. 

 "I said what I said, kanya-kanyang opinyon naman yan. Pero respetuhan na lang tayo. Just like what Pie [Cherry Pie Picache] said, artista tayo, but we also have our social responsibility," Piolo said.

"Whatever we say, opinyon natin yun. We are all entitled to our own opinion, respetuhan lang," he added.

Piolo then stated that he supports President Duterte all the way.

"I've always been for Duterte, ever since. Pero siyempre, in this business, whatever you say is magnified. I'll just pray for him. I need to pray for our President, we need the President regardless, yun lang," Piolo concluded.
