PNP Chief 'Bato' Dela Rosa Arrives From Thailand With Wanted Ex-Cop


PNP Chief Ronald 'Bato' Dela Rosa returned to the Philippines on Saturday night with the handcuffed Filipino fugitive. 

In a Facebook post on Sunday, General 'Bato' share a photo of him at a Thailand airport with the fugitive who was identified as former Police Officer 1, Alexander Pangilinan, an  alleged member of the "Dos Pares" group tagged in the death of a Chinese-Filipino engineer Michael Chan in 2005.

“A very productive hunting trip 
with this ex-cop fugitive who has been wanted for kidnapping for ransom with homicide as the catch. Suspect fled the country & evaded arrest for 10 years while employed as resort manager in Thailand,” Dela Rosa wrote in the caption.


Dela Rosa and the suspect arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport at past 6 p.m. on board Philippine Airlines flight PR 731. 

Dela Rosa was guest at the anniversary of the Royal Thai Police.
