Janine Gutierrez, the daughter of actor Ramon Christopher Gutierrez and actress Lotlot de Leon had moved in to her 92-square meter condo unit in April 2016.
Janine had always imagined what her future "room" would look like since she was a kid. She said in the October issue of YES! Magazine, "Since bata ako, I never had my own room.
"So, siyempre, kapag nagshe-share ka, di ba kailangan, isipin mo din iyong mga gusto ng mga kasama mo.
"So I always had this image in my head, iyong parang pag nagkakuwarto ako, gusto ko ganito, ganyan."
With Janine's recent success in showbusiness, she was able to afford not just a room but a home of her own.
For the unit's interior design, Janine spent her very own earnings. She hired her 'kinakapatid,' Theressa Asis to decorate her dream place.
"Talagang pinag-ipunan ko. Kami ang pumili ng lahat--iyong floor, iyong lights, every thing talaga."
The renovation period took quite some time. Finally, when it was completed, Janine told YES!, "Nagpasama ako [referring to one of her friends]. Kasi kahit matulog, hindi pa rin ako sanay mag-isa noong una, since sa kuwarto namin before, tatlo kaming magkakapatid.
"So parang biglang na-feel ko na nakakatakot pala."
"Pero nakakatuwa din pala to have your own space na parang puwede kang makapagpahinga na wala kang iniisip," the Once Again star added.
