In Northern Mindanao, an 8-month pregnant woman named Marilou Absin, was rescued by her faith. Up to now, she can't explain the mystery that had happened to her.
According to her: "Hindi kasi ako makakatulog kapag may ilaw kaya papatayin ko na yung ilaw. Narinig na po namin yung kaluskos sa bubong namin at saka yung hangin na malakas na sobrang lakas."
"Parang may narinig kaming boses. Yung boses niya, tuloy-tuloy siya na umiikot sa bahay namin. Para kaming nililito sa loob ng kwarto. Nakita namin yung tagos talaga ng bubong namin, dun ko nakikita na parang may sumilip," aniya.
She prayed to Allah eventhough she was afraid that her child will die in her womb. Marilou and her cousin were afraid especially when the lights had suddenly opened.
"Nagulat na lang kami na yung biglang may bumagsak dito sa tiyan ko na sobrang malamig na malagkit tapos sobrang naninigas na yung tiyan ko."
"'Yung paparating na yung tatay ko, parang may nasalubong siyang parang tao na kung idi-describe mo parang tiktik. Sabi ng tatay ko natiktik nga daw ako."
Marilou was brought to a faith healer to let go the bad spirits. She remembered her father saying about the faith, that Allah is always there.
"Total safe naman na daw kaming mag-ina. Naisalba naman daw ako sa kapahamakan na ganun sa pag-aatake ng tiktik," Marilou said.
After 16 years, Marilou's child grew up healthy. She said that its still fresh on her mind the unexplainable things that happened to her before. She is thankful to her faith to the Lord.
"Para sa akin naniniwala po ako na may tiktik kasi po totoo po na nangyari sa buhay ko na yung inaatake po ako ng tiktik talagang totoong-totoo," Marilou added.
