The Kapamilya Star Julia Montes finally met her biological father. Julia was a Filipino actress who gained widespread recognition with her first significant role as Clara del Valle in the remake of Mara Clara.
The real name of Julia Montes was Mara Hautea Schnittka. She was born to a Filipino mother, Gemma Hautea, and a German father, Martin Schnittka, in Pandacan, Manila, Philippines. Her father left them when Montes was still a baby, and only her deaf mother raised her with the help of her grandmother, Flory Hautea.
After several years of searching, Julia finally found her biological father.
Two days after Christmas Day, Julia Montes posted on her Instagram account a photo of her with her biological father, German national Martin Schnittka.
"Hindi ko aakalain na darating ang araw na ito na makikita at makakasama ko siya," she wrote as the caption. "Unang una ay gusto ko magpasalamat sa Panginoon dahil ipinagkaloob niya ang pagkakataon na ito.
"Malinaw pa sa isip ko nung mga panahon na ipagdasal ko na mangyari ang araw na ito hanggang sa sumuko na ko at nawalan ng pagasa. Maraming ways talaga ang Panginoon para sa atin."
"Iba hinihingi natin sobra sobra pa ang binibiyaya sa atin. Sa mga naging tatay-tatayan ko salamat din sa inyo dahil lalo kong na-appreciate ang Papa ko dahil sa inyo.
