LOOK: Richard Gomez And Lucy Torres' Home In Forbes Park

Richard Gomez, the mayor of Ormoc and his wife Lucy Torres, a representative of Leyte's fourth district, decided to live in Forbes Park for convenience. They are not technically based here in Manila.

Each time Richard and Lucy have an engagement, it would take them at least 45 minutes to get to the airport coming from their Greenhills home in San Juan. Richard also likes Makati because whenever they are hungry, they can just go out for there are so many fastfoods and restaurants in the place.

Before the Gomez' family moved in to their Forbes Park home, they commissioned Architect Jay de Ramos and contractor Anolito Guina for the year-long renovation.

Lucy proudly shared that the design was a reflection of them as a couple and most of the items that are found around the house have a story.

Richard and Lucy opted to have an open-floor plan. YES! Magazine described the first level, "To the left of the main dining area is a smaller dining table bought from an antique store and paired with chairs."

The soundproofed windows courtesy of the German brand Pella is the highlight of the house, as pointed out by the architect. The home's design is "coastal...modern, yet may touch pa din siya ng femininity because Lucy really wants it bongga.

"Iyong taste nilang  dalawa kinombine, andthen it turned out to be like this," Architect Jay added.

Here's the seating area of the celebrity couple. According to Lucy: "I wanted it to have a lived-in feeling.
