Albie Casiño's Absence at Jaclyn Jose's Wake: 'Bakit Ako Makikiramay?'

Albie Casiño recently addressed questions regarding his absence at the wake of veteran actress Jaclyn Jose, the mother of his ex-girlfriend, Andi Eigenmann. Speaking candidly, Casiño explained that he wasn't certain if his presence would be welcomed.

During a media conference for his upcoming film "Kasalo," Casiño expressed his condolences for Jose's passing but admitted that he wasn't personally affected by the news.

“Unang-una, I just wanna say rest in peace Ms. Jane saka condolences sa lahat ng tao na nagmamahal sa kaniya. Pero hindi naman ako apektado,” he stated.

Casiño went on to explain that he felt his presence might not be welcome at the wake, hence his decision not to attend.

“I don’t think my presence would be welcome there, so bakit ako makikiramay, ‘di ba?” he added.

The actor's relationship with the Jose family became strained during Andi Eigenmann's pregnancy, where Casiño was initially pointed to as the father. However, it was later revealed that Jake Ejercito, Andi's ex-boyfriend, was the biological father of her child, Ellie.

While Casiño acknowledged that he wasn't explicitly told he wasn't welcome at the wake, he inferred that it would be best to stay away given the circumstances.

There has been no response from Andi's camp or Jaclyn's relatives regarding Casiño's sentiments about not being welcomed at the actress's wake.
