A Soldier Can’t Afford To Pay For His Baby’s Diaper: Total Strangers Help Him Out

In this recent episode of ABC News segment ‘What Would You Do’, as part of social experiment, an actor pretends to be in the military buying his family food in a local supermarket. But when he was about to pay for the diapers, milk, and food, his card gets declined. To make things worse, he doesn’t have enough cash to cover everything. Will anybody step up and help him?

What Would You Do is an American newsmagazine and situational hidden camera television that has been broadcast on ABC since February 2008. It is hosted by news correspondent John Quiñones.

The program features actors acting out scenes of conflict or illegal activity in public setting while hidden cameras  videotape the scene, and the focus is on whether or not bystanders intervene, and how. Variations are also usually included, such as changing the genders, the races or the clothing of the actors performing the scene, to see if bystanders react differently. Quiñones will come out at the end of each scenario to interview bystanders and witnessed about their reactions.

Watch the entire video below to see what these strangers do when they see a soldier struggling to care for his family.
