This story is being shared by a passenger inside a jeepney where she witnessed how a daughter mistreated her own mother and blamed her for being blind.
Two young daughters got inside the jeepney with their mother who is blind. The daughter in yellow attire was annoyed to her mother, as she give the fare to her other sister. The mother apologized to her daughters for disturbing them. "After you accompanied me, you can go home already so that you can rest," the mother said.
The annoyed daughter said: "You always wanted us to accompany you! You wake us up very early in the morning. You should be the one to travel because you can do it by yourself."
The mother explained: "If only I can manage to travel alone, if only I can see and not blind, I will not disturb you. The daughter again said to her mother: "Bakit kasi nabulag ka pa! Pati tuloy kame naiistorbo!
After saying that, the passenger saw the mother was about to cry. The passenger got furious. If only she can push outside the jeepney the daughter, she did it already. She said to her mind: The daughter did not even think that even though their mother is blind, she is doing something and she is working so that they will have something to eat.
The passenger got teary-eyed as she witnessed the incident that the daughter are still lucky enough because they have their mother who loves them so much even though she is blind.
The passenger said how she wished she will experience to have a mother, to feel how's the feeling to love a mother and to take care a mother because in her entire life, she never had the experience to have a mother.
A lesson to be learned: Love your mother, respect her because your mother loves you so much, will always take care of you, will always be working for you to have foods to eat everyday and give you the necessities that you needed. Without your mother, you will not be here in this world.
