PNP Director Ronaldo "Bato" Dela Rosa personally inspected the security around the Batasan Road in Quezon City in connection with the first State of the Nation Address (SONA) of President Rodrigo Duterte on Monday, July 25, 2016.
While the PNP chief was roaming around the Batasan Road, an 8-year old vendor who fell on the ground caught his attention. Despite being busy, General "Bato" immediately helped the young boy and was given money.
ABS-CBN News identified the young vendor as Sean Dennis Calabitin who was in Grade 3. Sean was selling water when he fell on the ground. He gave thanks to General Bato, who, according to him, is his idol. He wants also to serve the government when he grows up, he added.
Sean is one of the young vendors who sells water around the Batasan Road, who, at young age is hopeful to the promises of "change" by the President.
