Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada On Hero's Burial For Marcos: Let's Move On And Respect The Dead

Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada, a former President of our country has called on Filipinos to "move on" and respect President Duterte's decision to allow the burial of late president  Ferdinand Marcos at the Libingan ng mga Bayani.

According to Mayor Estrada: "We are all Christians. We have to move on. Let's devote more time on the problems of the country. Move on. Let go anything of the past."

"Officials have already decided" on the hero's burial for the late president.
"We all must respect the dead... Hindi na dapat siguro pag-awayan 'yan," Estrada added.

On September 18, reports said that Marcos will be buried at the Libingan ng mga Bayani in Taguig City. Preparations are already being made for the hero's burial.

Hundreds of people were gathered at Rizal Park last weekend to protest President Duterte's decision to allow the hero burial for Marcos. But President Duterte had insisted that the late president should be buried at the heroe's cemetery because he was a president and a soldier.
