Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte, daughter of President Duterte announced on Monday, September 5 a P2 million reward for information on or actual arrest of the culprit behind a deadly blast that killed 14 people and at least 60 were injured in a popular night market along Roxas Street in Davao City on September 2, Friday evening.
Mayor Duterte said P1 million would be given to those who could provide the name and current location on the culprit. Another P1 million will be given to whoever could bring the suspect to authorities.
Mayor Duterte said: "Ihatid ninyo sa amin, posasan ninyo, ihatid niyo sa Davao police office. The authorities want the suspects to be alive."
"We want him alive. Emphasize ko yan. We want him alive because we want to talk to him kung sino mga kasama niya, anong grupo sila, and gusto namin malaman kung ano pa mga plano nila na mga terrorist activities and gusto rin namin malaman kung bakit," Mayor Duterte added.
The mayor also announced the relief of Davao City Police Chief Senior Superintendent Michael Dubria and Task Force Davao Colonel Henry de Leon.
