Rochelle Opens Up About Sexbomb's Sudden Disbandment: 'We Still Lack Closure to This Day'

In a candid interview with Toni Gonzaga, Rochelle Pangilinan Solinap shed light on the sudden disappearance of the iconic dance group, Sexbomb dancers, from the limelight.

As one of the original members of the group, Rochelle delved into the lingering absence of closure surrounding the disbandment.

"Wala kaming closure hanggang ngayon... Bigla na lang kaming parang, wala!"

"We still lack closure to this day... It's like we were suddenly, just gone!" Rochelle confessed.

She recounted a moment of misunderstanding between their bosses at Eat Bulaga and their manager, Ate Joy, during a taping for Daisy Siyete. Rumors swirled, leading to a strained atmosphere, and ultimately, a decision was made not to return to Eat Bulaga.

They agreed to still go to Eat Bulaga the next day, but then Ate Joy, their manager at the time, called them in tears. That's when they decided not to go back.

Following their departure, auditions were held for new dancers, leaving Rochelle and her fellow Sexbomb members feeling replaced and hurt. Despite their competitive spirit, they couldn't shake off the feeling of being sidelined.

"'Nung hindi na kami pumasok sa Eat Bulaga, nagpa-audition na sila ng dancers. Nagpa-contest. Tapos this time, magaganda, bata... siyempre ang sakit-sakit 'nun sa 'min. Ahh, magaganda. 'Di naman namin kasalanan 'yun kayo-kayo ang nag-away e. Parang pinalitan niyo nalang kami. Ganu'n yung feeling namin kasi bata e. Saka lahat ng sexbomb competitive"

Rochelle's heartfelt revelation offers a glimpse into the complexities behind the group's dissolution, highlighting the emotional toll it took on its members.

As an accomplished dancer, actress, and recording artist, Rochelle's journey from Sexbomb to her current endeavors reflects her resilience and determination in the face of adversity.

Her openness about the past serves as a reminder of the challenges artists often face in the entertainment industry, and her resilience continues to inspire fans and fellow performers alike.
