During the privilege speech of Senator Alan Peter Cayetano, Senator De Lima walked out. Pacquiao moved that the whole committee on justice and human rights be declared vacated.
Senator De Lima was removed as Justice Committee Chairman after accusing her of being bias. Manny Pacquiao declares De Lima out in senate, 16 out of 20 of the Senators agreed with Pacquiao and replace Senator Dick Gordon as new Justice Chairman Committee.
News Anchor Mike Enriquez was able to talk with Senator De Lima in her recent interview at 24 Oras. He asked the lady senator, "Senadora ano pong plano nyo ngayong pinalayas kayo?" to which De Lima answered, "Ang ganda naman ng tanong mo, pinalayas". She looks insulted by the question of Mike Enriquez.
