A 17-year old Filipino Gilas player named Gian Mamuyac had successfully blocked two-time NBA MVP Stephen Curry's three-point shot attempt.
It happened in Taipei, Taiwan on the last stop of the Golden State Warriors superstar's Under Armour Asia tour. In the last five seconds of the quarter, the NBA Superstar summoned his signature last second three point winning shot but got defeated by Mamuyac.
After the historical block, Curry proudly confirmed that the young player blocked him without incurring any foul. He gave Mamuyac a high five and gestured that it was a great defense. Same with Curry, Mamuyac looked overjoyed with the one of a kind achievement.
Mamuyac was named MVP of the Taipei leg of Curry's tour and he'll reportedly get to go to the NBA Superstar's camp in the United States.
