Veteran actress Cherie Gil is closed to her nephews and nieces like Andi Eigenmann, the daughter of his deceased brother Mark Gil.
After the interview in Project Hairshot Clinix The Red Whistle's Road to World AIDS Day 2016 event on October 20 at Pineapple Lab in Makati City, on being a supporter to the event and her new projects, the award-winning actress was asked if she is aware on the latest issue on Andi Eigenmann, her niece.
It can be recalled that last September, Max, one of Cherie's nieces revealed who the real father of Ellie -- the long-time on and off boyfriend of Andi, Jake Ejercito.
When Cherie heard the question, her mood became different. She then said: “I am not in a position to [react to] this, and I think it’s quite insulting that you asked me this.
"You ask Andi, it’s her story to tell.”
After saying this, Cherie walks out and left the writer and the two TV news crew who interviewed her.
