Young Couple Were Shocked When The Wife Gave Birth To 3 Black Children

A devout Christian couple named Rachel and Aaron Halbert decided early on in their relationship that they would adopt after having trouble conceiving their own.

Aaron grew up in Honduras. His parents served as missionaries there. He is used to being the only white person among his friends, which increased his cultural awareness and made him feel more comfortable around other races.

His wife, Rachel, grew up in Mississippi and didn’t have the same exposure to other cultures but she was still compassionate toward every human.

Rachel and Aaron finally adopted two black children. They loved how much enrichment their multicultural family brought them.

This couple’s adoption story doesn’t end there. When they learned about the National Embryo Donation Center, a Christian embryo bank that accepts frozen embryos that are created during a couple’s IVF treatment, the couple decided to adopt two more black children. One of the embryos divided and so Rachel gave birth to triplets!

And while the family sometimes gets negative stares or looks of "disgust" when they walk down the street in Southern America, they realize how blessed they are to have amazing children. Some people are appalled by their decision to have raised children who are of a different race and the disparagement comes from both blacks and whites.
