Man Walks 6 Days To His Family From Manila To Isabela After Losing His Job

A man named Virgilio Colibao worked as a construction worker for a year in Valenzuela. But recently, he was laid off so he decided to go back home to his family in his hometown in Isabela province.

Colibao has no money for transportion, so he walk all the way home from Manila to Isabela. He journeyed a staggering 280  kilometers.

There were struggles along the way as Colibao traversed mountains, battled the constant road traffic and sells recyclable material he had foraged along the way to scrap yards in exchange for a small amount of money.

But once he arrived at Nueva Ecija, a group of kind-hearted motorcycle riders called Region 2 Riders Federation Rescue spotted him and helped the man.

The group carried Colibao's cart in a pick-up van and offered to transport him all the way to his home in Ilagan City after someone posted a picture of him, along with his story on Facebook.

Colibao was grateful for the motorcycle riders and plans to stay in Ilagan and farm there.
