MUST WATCH: Pinay Blind Singer Covers 'On My Own,' From The Musical "Les Miserables"

Alienette Coldfire, a blind Pinay singer became a social media sensation after joining a French talent show last year. She recently placed third in "France Has Got Talent" competition.

Lea Salonga, a Broadway star recently caught wind of Alienette's cover. She has nothing but praise for the blind Pinay singer. Sharing the video posted on the YouTube channel of online radio station Wish 107.5 on social media, Lea her followers on Twitter: "You have to hear this. Excellent!" 

The song "On My Own" is from the musical "Les Miserables" which Lea performed on Broadway after she was tapped as the first Filipina to play the role of Eponine.

For her appearance on Wish 107.5, Coldfire also performed the original French version of "I Dreamed A Dream," also from "Les Miserables," and The Jackson 5's "I'll Be There."
