During the blind auditions on The Voice Teens, a Philippine reality singing television competition for teens that airs on ABS-CBN, on Saturday, April 29, Jem Macatuno, a young poet from Pampanga sings 'Mahirap Magmahal Ng Syota Ng Iba' by Apo Hiking Society with his acoustic guitar.
Coach Lea Salonga and Bamboo turned their chairs. According to Bamboo: “I turned because you showed your character” while Lea said: “It’s an old tune but you gave new life to the song.”
Meanwhile, Sharon Cuneta said: “I enjoyed your number very much. You have a very good voice.”
In the end, Jem picks Team Bamboo. He even delivered a spoken word piece specially made for the coaches.
