Former 'Gwapings' star Mark Fernandez gets emotional when his lived-in partner visited him after being arrested by police authorities for possession of marijuana.
According to a report from ABS-CBN, the 37-year old actor requested his lived-in partner to take care of their newly-born child.
Mark Anthony was caught with a kilogram of marijuana from his car in which he claims was planted. He said: “Konti lang po ‘yung dala ko nun tapos biglang may naglagay po ng isang kilo [marijuana] po dun sa kotse ko nang tumigil ako.”
The actor was asked who planted the marijuana on his car, Mark answered: “Ah hindi ko maalala po kung sino. Ah isa po sa humuli sa akin.”
Mark faces a heavy case filed by the Philippine National Police (PNP). He will be sentenced to life in prison, once he is found guilty. According to C/INSP. Francisco Guevarra Jr., Chief of police station 6 in Angeles City their arrest of Fernandez was legal. “Basta sa amin po legal na trabaho ‘yun, legal na operation. Medyo nanginginig nung nakuha siya, kasi nakipaghabulan nga.”
Meanwhile, Mark Anthony's mother, Alma Moreno had reacted after discovering the news that her son was arrested by the police. She asked the public to avoid judging her son after he was taken under custody by police officials.
