President Duterte Kissed The Hands Of Japanese Artist Who Was Obviously Surprised And Somewhat Flattered


The Malacañang welcomed Japanese investors last Tuesday evening, October 11, on a courtesy call. 

President Duterte was able to meet different Japanese investors based in the country and Japanese artist Ayumi Endo who has known for creating artworks featuring President Duterte during the election period.

She has three digital art pieces of the President which gone viral on social media: “The Patriot”, “Tatay Digong”, and “Change is Coming”.

President Duterte acknowledged the appreciation shown by the Japanese artist, stating that Endo’s artworks are a clear example of the strong bond between the Philippines and Japan.

The renowned visual artist also presented the Chief Executive a new artwork in which PNP Chief Bato Dela Rosa is part of it. 

In the video, while the media were taking photos, President Duterte shook hands with the Japanese visual artist and kissed her hand which obviously surprised and somewhat flattered Endo.

The President is set to fly to Japan in October to further fortify agreements with the said country.
