Bela Padilla, a Kapamilya actress reacted on the photos which appeared on the broadsheet The Philippine Star which tagged her as the real girlfriend of Alden Richards, a Kapuso actor.
Bela questioned the motives for editing her out of her own photo to create malice and urged Philstar to be 'responsible' with their articles. She demanded Ricky Lo, the columnist of the paper where the photo appeared, to conduct some research and fact-check before publishing anything.
"@PhilstarNews please be responsible in checking your articles before you publish them," Bela said.
Bela ranted on Twitter and said: "How does one take another person's photo without permission, and take time to edit that person out of their own photo to create malice?"
As of this writing, PhilStar is still investigating the article where the photo appeared.
Bela Padilla is currently in a relationship with producer Neil Arce.
