Actress Julia Montes, born Mara Schnittka turned emotional after hearing that her biological father, Martin Schnittka, a German national apologizes her for leaving her when she was still a baby, according to a report aired on "Tonight With Boy Abunda," a late night talk show.
Their reunion took place at a restaurant in Cubao on Tuesday evening and that the two met again on Wednesday afternoon.
Julia first shared a photo of her meeting with her biological dad on Instagram. According to Julia, the reunion was made possible with the help of fans, friends and one of her cousins.
Julia's father who is now married to another woman, is set to leave the country on Friday. However, Julia is said to have already begun planning a trip to Germany next year.
Julia was raised by her deaf Filipina mother with the help of her grandmother.
