Actress Donita Rose confirmed last July 2016 her break up with husband Eric Villarama after being together for almost 12 years. However, the couple tried to fix their marriage for two years but their relationship was on and off.
In "Good Times With Mo Twister" podcast last Sunday, Donita gave the details of their separation when giving an advice to a male caller who caught his boyfriend having an affair with another guy and having a hard time moving on. The number one key to moving on, according to Donita is to forgive yourself first.
Donita mentioned that her separation with her husband was caused by "character flaws" and "character issues". According to her: "In my case, I did everything I thought I could. But why am I at the losing end of this deal because that person left me? Even if I had done things differently, this person would have left me anyway because it's a character issue."
"The picture that I paint in my mind of what's supposed to be perfect and a great relationship would never happen because of the character flaws and character issues," she added.
However, Donita said that it is not completely her husband's fault.
She was surprised when Donita saw a post of her husband together with his new partner.
