Ouija board, also known as a spirit board or talking board is a flat board printed with the letters of the alphabet, the numbers 0-9, the words "yes", "no", "hello" (occasionally), and "goodbye" along with various symbols and graphics.
The spiritualist movement began to claim the ouija board could be used to talk to the dead. Even before that, similar "talking boards" were used to get in contact with the spiritual realm going back as far as 1100 AD.

Contemporary ouija boards are slightly more ornate, and this one is likely similar to the one two Peruvian boys recently used when a pamphlet claimed it could help them "contact the devil."
The two of them started suffering from fits and convulsions and were swearing and threatening anybody who came near them. One boy's mother claimed he spoke with the devil's boy.
Relatives were terrified and called the police who then contacted a priest to perform an exorcism that was caught on video. The priest claimed that the devil had managed to get inside the two boys.
The footage shows one of the boys being strapped to a chair while writhing around and shouting. The priest can be seen bending over them and holding on to their arms and hands. And after a few hours of holding bibles to their bodies and sprinkling holy water on them, the two boys eventually returned to normal.
