Actress Camille Prats, the 90's child star, tied the knot with non-showbiz boyfriend John "VJ" Yambao, a businessman on Saturday, january 7.
They had exchanged the wedding vows at Camille's family-owned Nayomi Sanctuary Resort in Balete, Batangas.
Camille looked elegant in an intricately designed off-shoulder, laced wedding gown she matched with a silver tiara, while her husband was dressed in a three-piece suit with a white dress shirt and bow tie. VJ completed his dapper ensemble with a pair of black leather shoes.
This is Camille's second marriage. She first exchanged wedding vows with Anthony Linsangan but the latter passed away in 2011 because of nasopharyngeal cancer.
Camille and VJ reconnected again in December 2012 at a beach in California, 20 years of not seing each other. They were grade school classmates but drifted apart when VJ moved to the U.S. while Camille continued her acting career in the Philippines.
At first, Camille was reluctant to enter a new relationship after her husband's death, but she saw good qualities of VJ"Nakita ko yung sincerity niya... how genuine he was and his intentions are." Camille also said that her son Nathan approves her new relationship with VJ. It is a huge factor in her saying yes to VJ's proposal.
According to Camille: "I'm always after my son's happiness. If he's not happy about something, hindi rin magma-materialize sa 'kin iyon," she shared. "Kaya rin umabot sa ganito, itong relationship na ito, it's also because of him."
Camille and VJ got engaged in July 2015.
