'Miss Yelo': How a 21-Year-Old from Isabela Earns ₱90K Monthly Selling Ice

Jodielyn Ugalde, a 21-year-old entrepreneur from Isabela, has captured the attention of many with her unique ice-selling venture, affectionately dubbed 'Miss Yelo.' Earning an impressive ₱65,000 to ₱90,000 monthly, her story has become an inspiration for aspiring entrepreneurs.

Ugalde's journey began when her family inherited her grandmother's eatery, and they decided to venture into selling ice. What sets 'Miss Yelo' apart is their innovative approach to ice packaging. They craft 'pregnant' ice balls, a novel concept that appeals to customers and keeps them coming back for more.

Halos araw-araw na kaming nauubusan ng yelo,” Ugalde shared her story on KMJS.

With dedication and hard work, Ugalde and her family create hundreds of ice packs daily using 16 freezers at their home. Their commitment to quality and affordability has earned them a loyal customer base, including local vendors and markets.

Through her vlogs and social media presence, Ugalde shares insights into her thriving ice business, which has become a source of pride and prosperity for her family. Their success story highlights the potential for innovation and determination to transform traditional businesses into lucrative ventures.
