The long-standing noontime show "Tahanang Pinakamasaya" has bid farewell, leaving 130 employees displaced, as confirmed by recent reports.

The announcement was made by the revered host, Boy Abunda, during Monday's episode of "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda."

"Nagpaalam na sa manonood ang noontime show na 'Tahanang Pinakamasaya,'" shared Tito Boy during the show.

In a poignant clip aired during Saturday's episode, hosts and staff of "Tahanang Pinakamasaya" embraced one another, signaling the end of an era for the beloved program.

Actress and host Chariz Solomon corroborated the news, disclosing that the show aired its final episode on Saturday, March 2, marking the end of an era for the beloved noontime series.

"I'm excited for God's greater purpose for this Beautiful family. #TahanangPinakamasaya indeed," Chariz shared on her Instagram post, reflecting on the journey of the show.

Her co-host Mavy Legaspi also bid farewell to the show on Instagram, expressing gratitude and reminiscing about the growth and camaraderie fostered during their time on air.

According to Mavy, "Tahanang Pinakamasaya" wasn't just about him but about the dedicated staff and crew who worked tirelessly behind the scenes. He acknowledged their contributions and prayed for blessings upon them in the face of uncertainty following the show's closure.

In the wake of the program's conclusion, TAPE Inc. and GMA Network are anticipated to release a joint statement addressing the circumstances surrounding the show's departure, shedding light on the fate of its dedicated employees.
