Benguet Houses Turned Into One Big and Colorful Mural

La Trinidad, Benguet is the neighboring town of Baguio City. It shelters the famous strawberry fields, making it a popular tourists' destination.

Benguet transforms its neighborhood of houses into a colorful mural, painting different colors on the residences. The colorful transformation was done at Barangay Balili and in line with the Department  of Tourism's (DOT) REV-BLOOM Project.

The project is an adaptation from the favela painting in Brazil. It's official unveiling is on June 23, but they still need two months for the projects completion.

Around 150 houses will be painted. The paint is given for free and the residents recognize the economic benefits they will gain from the project. Some of them are looking forward to expanding their businesses.
