Sometimes, we are used to re-boil water or let it boil again the water in the kettle not knowing the dangerous or harmful effects of re-boiled water in our body, especially in the nervous system and brain.
The water that is left boiled too long or is re-boiled, the chemical compounds change for the worst. It increases the risk of ingesting certain chemicals. These chemicals include arsenic, nitrates and fluoride.
Here are the damaging effects of re-boiled water:
Nitrates – This can become harmful when used as a food preservative, such as deli meats, or when exposed to high heat such as boiling water. High temperatures transform nitrates to nitrosamines which can cause cancer. Nitrates have been linked to leukemia, non-Hodgkin lymphoma, ovarian, colon, rectal, stomach, pancreatic, bladder, esophageal and thyroid cancer.
Arsenic – According to World Health Organization (WHO), drinking water poses the greatest threat to public health from arsenic. Exposure to arsenic can cause numerous health issues such as cancer, infertility, cardiovascular disease, neurological issues and developmental disorders.
Fluoride – Exposure to fluoride showed damaging effects on neurological and cognitive development in children. Despite the proof of the dangerous effects of fluoride, the government insists to keep it in our water.
