Francisco Gaudencio Lupe Belardo Mañalac (born March 21, 1978), popularly known as Bamboo Mañalac or simply by the mononym Bamboo, is a Filipino musician and singer-songwriter. He began his career as the original vocalist of Rivermaya and later fronted his own band, Bamboo.. The band disbanded in 2011. Bamboo then pursued a solo career.
On May 24, 2014 Bamboo joined Sarah Geronimo, and Lea Salonga as coaches for The Voice Kids Philippines.
Last Saturday June 18, 2016, Bamboo Manalac sang a rendition of "Tomorrow" from the musical Annie on the episode of The Voice Kids Philippines. Bamboo is trying to impress the 7 year old Carmela Lozano to join his team. Despite of Bamboo’s effort, carmela opted to joined Team Leah.
The crowd cheered & was impressed when Bamboo sang his classic rock version of Tommorow! Even Leah Salonga, , who sang the song in the Manila production when she was a little girl also impressed.
The views of Bamboo's uncut version of tomorrow is more than a million already in FB.!!!
