Tristan Dynel Gogit, a 15-year old boy suffers from kidney disease. He was spotted singing at the food court of Robinson's Sta. Rosa, Laguna, to strangers inorder to ask money to be able to buy his medications.
In a post of Elisa Regalario Secillano, she and her friends met Tristan while they were dining at the food court. The boy approached them asking if he could sing in exchange for a small amount of money to buy his medication. At first they ignored him but one of Elisa's friends realized that she had previously seen Tristan singing at the same mall the last time she was there.
They asked Tristan why he was singing in exchange for medication. It was then that they found out that his parents were separated and had other children to take care for.
Tristan needs to undergo regular dialysis to save his kidney; one is already damaged. He had to find ways to raise money by himself. He also said that he goes to the dialysis center by himself sometimes because her parents were busy. His check-up are often free after singing to the staff.
Elisa and her friends marvelled at Tristan's determination and will to live. They were surprised to hear his golden voice, as Tristan sang "Hesus", a gospel song. He truly has a wonderful voice as you can see in the video.
