Edu Manzano Urges President Duterte To Reveal Names Of Celebrities Who Were Involved In Drugs

Host-actor Edu Manzano speaks up regarding the showbiz personalities who were involved in drug trade. This is after a radio DJ, Karen Bordador led many revelations and names of many celebrities who were using illegal drugs. Karen and her boyfriend were arrested as 2.8 million worth of shabu and marijuana were yielded in their condo unit.

Edu urged the government to reveal the names of celebrities. According to Edu: “Ako, okay lang, you reveal, reveal! Unang-una sa lahat, ang request ko lang is, to make sure that these are valid, these names. Hindi puwede yung tsismis-tsismis lang, dapat may ebidensiya, it has been long been established, hindi lang puro lip service. Hard evidence ang pinakaimportante diyan. So they have to be circumspect, maging maingat sa pagdi-divulge ng mga pangalan na supposedly or allegedly [involved],” he said. 

This is contrary to Robin Padilla's plea to keep the drug involvement of showbiz personalities between the authorities, the networks, the management, and the artists. Edu said the networks should have been handling these cases by now, making the proper intervention.
