Ex- PDA Singer Jay-R Siaboc Surrendered to Police After Hearing Allegations That He is a Notorious Drug Pusher


Singer Jay-R Siaboc, who is best known for his song "Kada Uli Hilot", was one of the scholars of the 2006 talent search "Pinoy Dream Academy" (PDA), where he finished runner-up to winner, singer Yeng Constantino.

Jay-R had surrendered to police in Toledo City in Cebu in the face of the intensified campaign against illegal drugs by the government.



Police Chief Samuel Mina confirmed to ABS-CBN News that Jay-R together with his cousin surrendered themselves at their station. According to the police, the singer was part of the more than 200 drug users and pushers who surrendered to them on Tuesday. 

Jay-R decided to surrender after hearing allegations on social media that he is a notorious drug pusher but he denied the allegations of selling drugs instead Jay-R confessed about his addiction to it. According to him, he was exposed to illegal drugs because of the nature of his job as a band singer travelling from one place to another. Jay-R signed an oath to stop using illegal drugs.
