Alleged Two-Storey White House And Orange Bungalow of Sen. De Lima's Driver Draw Attention To Many

President Duterte linked Senator De Lima to the iilegal drug trade by claiming that her driver named Ronnie Palisoc Dayan was De Lima's bagman who allegedly collected drug payoffs for her. The president also claimed that the senator was in a relationship with her driver.

Currently drawing scrutiny after President Duterte's thrashing of Sen. De Lima is a two-storey white house located in Brgy. Galarin in Urbiztondo, Pangasinan.

Rodolfo Licuanan, the village chief, said that De Lima's driver lives in the white house. According to Rodolfo, the senator stays there whenever she visits their municipality.

“I knew she was around because people would tell me that she was here,” he told the Philippine Daily Inquirer.

However, he declined to confirm Duterte’s allegation that De Lima gave the house as a gift to Dayan.

 “I don’t know,” he answered.

A resident said that occasionally, De Lima and her driver would seen at the public market buying vegetables and fish. "We would see them on weekends. She would arrive on a Saturday and leave on a Sunday."

Aside from the two-storey white house, De Lima's driver is also said to own an orange bungalow in the same village.

Licuanan said Ronnie's children live in the orange house. The driver has two married children with their own families, while his youngest child is still in high school."

But Licuanan was uncertain as to whether Ronnie’s wife lived with their children or if she lived in the Visayas, as previously reported.
