An 8-Year Old Boy Who Was Studying Under The Street Light Goes Viral.

A photo of an 8-year old boy who was studying beside the street under a street light in Calinan, Davao City goes viral. It was photographed by Brian Parantar in Penyano Street on Monday night.

According to Brian, he was walking when he saw this young boy named Luxary Lumabong while studying beside the street. Brian admired the young boy's determination. He said: "Nakikita ko siya na nagpupursigi sa pag-aaral kasi sa panahon natin ngayon, naglalaro at this early age sa kalsada."

GMA's "24 oras" hosted by Mike Enriquez and Mel Tiangco looked for this young boy. According to Luxary, he chose to study beside the street under the street light because they have no electricity at home.

To be able to help the family of Luxary, "Rated K" had given the young boy different gifts, including a solar lamp which can be used by Luxary when he's studying.
