Rita Gaviola, known as "Badjao Girl" made her first appearance via photo posted on Facebook showing her begging with her younger sister during the Pahiyas Festival in Lucban, Quezon.
Recently, the Badjao Girl was confirmed as one of the new teen housemates in Pinoy Big Brother, more popularly known by its abbreviated title PBB, a Philippine version of Big Brother.
While Rita was washing the dishes, the other housemates have been in commotion in one corner, playing with what they thought an underwear but its a strap of a bra. They were thinking it belongs to Maymay. Rita got this strap and hide this when she saw the girls are all smiling and playing her undergarment.
Her teen housemates went to her to apologize and to explain their side. Rita was teary-eyed and told them not to play her things because she got hurt.
