The two Kapamilya stars, Maja Salvador and John Lloyd Cruz were spotted together in Davao during the city's Kadayawan Festival. They were part of the Kapamilya Karavan 2016 in Davao for the Kadayawan Sadabaw.
Photos of Maja and John Lloyd hitting the beach recently made the rounds on social media. These were shot at the Pearl Farm Beach Resort in Malipano Island, according to the entertainment website Pep.
In a previous interview, Neneth Rustia, their Star Magic handler made it clear that there is no budding romance between Cruz and Salvador, insisting that they are just friends.
“Dating? Kung dating iyon, hindi sila magpo-post, especially si John Lloyd (If they’re dating, they won’t post photos, especially John Lloyd),” she said. “At kasama kami last night (And they were with us last night).”
Their photo recreating the promotional poster for the light hearted romantic film 'How To Be Yours' pose of Bea Alonzo and Gerald Anderson went viral on social media. Bea is John Lloyd's long-time on-screen partner while Gerald is Maja's former boyfriend.
