Rolando Espinosa Sr., the City Mayor of Leyte has given his sworn statement in front of the Chief of Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) Roel Obusan, as he pleads his son Kerwin to surrender now, after involving in a drug issue.
According to the mayor as he emotionally requested his son to surrender: "Son, if you are seeing me now on TV, I was struggling, please just reveal yourself and surrender instead. Don't worry son, our President and Chief Director of PNP will surely help us, so please surrender now."
According to the investigation of the PNP, they are holding evidences that clearly show that the two are related and protecting the Drug-syndicate in their place.
Before Espinosa's surrender President Rodrigo Duterte asked them to reveal themselves within 24 hours or else he will issue an order to the PNP of 'shoot them on sight.'
But according to the Bureau of Immigration, they found out that right after the inauguration of President Duterte, Kerwin had left the country and went to Malaysia.
Espinosa said that he will give his 100% help and knowledge regarding the drug issue just to stop the dirty business in our country.
