New Drug Can Allegedly Turn User Into A Real Life Zombie

A new type of drug is now being manufactured that outweighs the effect of others. This new type is called Flakka or "gravel" due to its white crystal chunks appearance. It is a highly addictive designer that is closely related to bath salts.

Users tore off clothes as their body temperatures spiked to 105 degrees and higher which may lead to kidney failure and worse, death. Some hallucinated that they were gods or that they were being chased. One man impaled himself on a police department fence he tried to scale to escape his imaginary pursuers. Summing all these may lead to zombie-like behavior as seen in the following video.

"The drug takes away all the inhibitions and also erases the body's ability to clamp down on dopamine and serotonin, so you just feel like you can do anything," said Brad Lamm, an addiction interventionist in Los Angeles.

It was believed that Flakka was manufactured primarily in China and had reached the US few years ago.
