One of President Duterte's supporters during the campaign period is the veteran actress Aiko Melendez, who is a former councilor of Quezon City.
On her official Facebook page, Aiko slammed Senator Leila De Lima for not facing her obligation as a public servant and for showing her weakness on the middle of the controversy against her.
According to Aiko, Senator De Lima must be brave enough to face all the accusations labelled against her. She should be careful particularly in using her gender as her sole card against her attackers.
The actress-turned-politician also urged the lady senator to stop crying for harassment but defend herself in front of the Filipino people who voted for her during the national elections.
Aiko also slammed her colleagues in the showbiz industry who asked President Duterte to resign because he asked for another six months extension to solve the crime and drug problems in the country.
